Night Outreach is a Stanford student-run organization dedicated to raising awareness about issues of homelessness and poverty in the Bay Area and connecting Stanford students, groups, and faculty with local community organizations and advocates.
Our work is grounded in compassion, listening, mutual learning, and respect for all members of our local community. We see our role as serving as a platform for Stanford students and local community members to learn about and contribute ethically and effectively to existing initiatives that provide services and resources addressing issues of homelessness and poverty.
Driven by this mission, our activities include community dinners with Stanford students and members of unhoused and recently housed communities, panel discussions and other educational events, publications and social media campaigns, and direct service opportunities with local community partners.
